1. Who we are
TrustStack is run by Lumi Matwele, Lethabo Bogacwi and Uyanda Dlamini, trading together as TrustStack, a partnership based in South Africa.
We work over WhatsApp. That's how we handle everything: questions, support, cancelling, complaints. WhatsApp messages are a written record, so there's a trail either way.
- WhatsApp: 064 881 6530
- Partners: Lumi Matwele, Lethabo Bogacwi and Uyanda Dlamini
- Based in: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
- Website: truststack.co.za
"We" and "us" means TrustStack. "You" means the business using our service.
2. What we build
We design, build, host and look after websites for home service businesses and other local businesses. Nothing else.
Depending on the package you choose on your call, that means:
- A one-pager, a small site or a full site, with the page count agreed up front
- Mobile-first design, written and laid out around the services you sell
- Tap-to-call, a WhatsApp quote button and an enquiry form that reaches you
- Basic local search setup: page titles, descriptions, suburb pages and your Google Business Profile details
- Hosting, an SSL certificate, backups and your domain
- Text, photo and price changes while you're on the monthly
We work over WhatsApp. Content, approvals, changes, support, cancelling. It's a written record either way.
3. What we need from you
- Your content. Logo, photos of your own work, your service list, your service areas and your prices.
- One person who can approve things. Builds stall when nobody can sign off.
- Your business details as they should appear publicly: trading name, phone number, email, hours, areas covered, and any registration or licence number you want shown.
- Domain access, if you already own the domain. If you don't, we register one in your name.
Anything you send us must be yours to use. Photos, logos, copy, reviews, certifications and licence numbers. If you don't hold the rights to it, or the claim isn't true, don't send it. We can't verify it for you and we take it as given that you can back up what's on your site.
4. How a build runs
- Day 1. A twenty-minute call about your services, your areas and your prices.
- Days 2 to 4. We build it and send you a private link.
- Day 5. One round of changes on that draft, included.
- Day 6 or 7. The site goes live on your domain.
About a week is what we aim for, not a guarantee. If we're waiting on material or approval from you, the timeline moves out by the same amount. A rebuild in a different direction after you've approved the draft is quoted separately.
5. Paying
- Half the build fee before we start, half when the site goes live. The price is what was quoted on your call, in Rand.
- Then R400 a month for hosting, the domain and your changes. It starts the day the site is live and is billed monthly in advance.
- Payments run through Payfast, a South African payment provider. You set up the monthly payment once and it runs automatically.
- We never see or store your card details. Payfast handles all of that.
- We'll give you 30 days' notice before changing the monthly. If you don't like the new price, cancel.
- If a payment fails, we'll message you on WhatsApp and give you 7 days to sort it out before the site is paused.
Build fees already paid aren't refundable once work has started. If you pull out before we start, you get the deposit back in full.
6. Hosting, the domain and changes
While you're paying the monthly, we run the hosting, the SSL certificate, the backups and the domain renewal, and we keep the site online.
- Included: text, photo, price, service and opening-hour changes, done within two business days of you sending them.
- Quoted separately: new pages, a redesign, online payments, booking systems, or anything that needs new functionality.
- Fair use. Included changes mean the ordinary run of updates a business needs, not a running redesign. If it turns into that, we'll say so and quote before doing the work.
We can't promise the site is never offline. Hosting, domain registration and payment processing are run by third parties. We pick reputable ones, but we're not liable for their outages.
7. Who owns what
- Once the build fee is paid in full, the site content and design are yours.
- The domain is registered in your name. It stays yours whatever happens between us.
- Your photos, logo and copy stay yours. You're giving us permission to use them on your site, nothing more.
- We keep the right to show your site as an example of our work. Ask us not to and we won't.
8. Enquiries that come through your site
When someone fills in the form on your site, that enquiry is forwarded to you. Under POPIA you are responsible for that person's personal information. We're your operator, so we only handle it to pass it on to you and to keep the form working.
- We don't use your enquiries for our own marketing, for another business, or to train AI models.
- We don't keep enquiry content longer than we need to deliver and troubleshoot it.
- How you use an enquiry after that, and how you answer it, is on you.
Our privacy policy sets out the detail.
9. What we don't promise
We can't promise a Google ranking, a place on page one, a number of enquiries or a number of jobs. That depends on your market, your prices, your reputation and on Google, none of which we control.
Anything you've seen on our website is an example of the work, not a prediction for your business.
10. Stopping
The monthly is cancellable any time. Message us on WhatsApp. We'll confirm in writing, cancel your Payfast subscription, and it runs to the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part-months.
We can stop hosting the site if you don't pay, break these terms, or ask us to publish something unlawful.
When you leave: the site comes offline, and we hand over the site files and the domain within 10 working days. You can host it anywhere you like.
11. If something goes wrong
Message us on WhatsApp. Most things sort out in a few minutes, and anything serious we'll come back to you on within 5 working days.
Please read this part carefully, because it limits what you can claim from us.
If we mess up, the most you can claim from us is what you paid us in the three months before the problem. We're not liable for lost profits, lost business or reputational damage.
None of this covers us for dishonesty, gross negligence, or anything the law says can't be excluded.
If a problem comes from content you gave us, a claim on your site that isn't accurate, or something you told us to publish, that one's on you.
We'll keep your business information confidential, and you'll do the same with ours.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll let you know 30 days before changing these terms. Carrying on using the service means you're fine with the change. If you're not, cancel.
13. The legal bits
South African law applies, and South African courts have jurisdiction. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
